A Whisper or A Brick?

A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and spun the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown.

He jumped out of the car, grabbed some kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, "What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing?" Building up a head of steam he went on. That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?"

"Please mister, please I'm sorry, I didn't know what else to do," pleaded the youngster. "I threw the brick because no one else would stop..."

Tears were dripping down the boy's chin as he pointed around the parked car. "It's my brother," he said. "He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up." Sobbing, the boy asked the executive, "Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me."

Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He lifted the young man back into the wheelchair and took out his handkerchief and wiped the scrapes and cuts, checking to see that everything was going to be okay.

"Thank you and May God bless you," the grateful child said to him. The man then watched the little boy push his brother down the sidewalk toward their home.

It was a long walk back to his Jaguar ... a long slow walk. He never did repair the side door. He kept the dent to remind him not to go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention.

God whispers in our souls and speaks to your hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's our choice.

There is no such thing in anyone's life
as an unimportant day!

Today's Poem
What Makes a Dad
~ Author Unknown

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so,
He called it ... Dad

Remembering When I Was Called "Daddy"
by Michael Bonamassa, Sr.
(dedicated to all 'daddys' on this Father's Day)

It's Father's Day and what father can't say that when their first born was around a year old, he couldn't wait to hear for the first time the word "da, da?" As for me, each time it was said, my heart would beat with joy ... that is, until it was said with crying or some other sorrowful sound. The same feeling happened with each one of my children when they would reach the age of the ‘da, da' word ... a joy and happiness that words cannot explain. However, I have to say that my most favorite and endearing title was that of "daddy" ... that's me.

There is something loving about being called "daddy"! To me, "daddy" speaks of a closeness ... a special bond between a child and their father. As a daddy, you could do no wrong in the eyes of your children. When they called out ‘daddy,’ whether in distress or happiness, they just knew I could fulfill their needs. For as we all know, ‘daddies’ can do anything ... they are wise, loving and cuddly warm ... for the most part, sometimes even more so than that disciplining mom. I got the feeling that, to them, whatever the day’s events would bring about for them, everything would be okay when daddy was within shouting distance.

But then, as I and the children got older, I was called "dad" (or even "father" when the subject was of a serious nature), but never daddy any more. Then, the day comes when our children become young men and women living on their own, making their own choices and living the results of those choices. After all, it is what we wanted for our children ... to become independent thinking adults living their hopes and dreams ... right? However, sometimes those hopes and dreams are shattered and you find that you can no longer make a hurt go away. So you watch, you feel their pain, and you weep deep down inside, but you cannot kiss it away any more because you're no longer "daddy" ... no, you're "dad" or "father" to them and can no longer fulfill their needs.

During 'father's day' especially, I often think about it and wish sometimes that I was "daddy" again and be able to hold my child and say, “everything is going to be okay.” Well, that's not possible, but if you're a father and haven't already reached that time, give your children lots of love and one day you will find that they've become phenomenally good young people who have strength of character and are generous of heart, and as a result, many times they will be the one's telling you ... "everything is going to be okay."

As I'm sure that you young 'daddys" too will look back and smile with tears remembering the days of your young fatherhood. When it does, try to think of what other endearing name or title brings back such warm memories of love. But, again, if you're like me, you won't be able to think of any ... that is, until you hear the endearing name of "Papa" (or Grandpa) come along with the grand children. As I have, so will you find that little hole in your heart is once again filled with the name "Papa" which takes on the same essence of "daddy".

Happy Father’s Day – Daddy!

Be a carrier of a smile ...
It's contagious!

Soul Mates
by Michael Bonamassa, Sr.

Soul mates are not what you think they are. They are soul extensions. The soul as we are familiar with was created by All That Is, the Creator, the Source ... the Infinite Being we call "God".

The Soul wants to know itself just like we want to know ourselves and the Soul has created a number of creations from itself. There are 12 creations just like each of us. They are not each roaming the Earth in physical bodies like we are, but are 12 separate aspects of creation that the Soul is learning and evolving from. There may be 1 or 2 on this planet, or there may be one in a different time zone. If we were to run into a soul mate (of our Soul's creation) while we would feel magnetically connected, we would not experience it as a soul mate in terms of romantic love as most of us are inclined to believe of soul mates because we would be too much "alike" in terms of "essence".

They therefore would be recognized as a twin flame ... an aspect of ourselves. Therefore, a twin flame is either older or younger than ourselves ... never of the same age. Also, twin flames are usually of different gender ... one male, one female, but both aspects of ourselves as Soul. In short, soul mates are usually found in 12 different dimensions as a means of evolving through the lessons learned from each.

When we talk of dimensions like the 3rd dimension (physical worlds), there are 3rd dimensions in different universes and planets that are not exactly like ours. Basically, when we enter the 5th dimension, we are moving from the lower 3 chakras to the upper chakras in terms of consciousness ... consciousness simply the creator being aware of itself. We are all aspects of the Creator, just as soul mates are aspects of our Soul. The Creator takes pieces of itself (so to speak) to create additional aspects of itself to experience itself under different conditions in order to learn more of its all knowingness and more of who it is. Consciousness of the Creator is what's in each one of us as a spark of the Divine within which resides in our hearts.

Life is what's coming .... not what was.

What Is The Michael Crystal

The Michael crystal, by definition, is always received as a gift, although it can be given to oneself. The mark of the Michael crystal is that it is always given to one who has made a contribution to your life in some way. The intent of the crystal is to share your gratitude through sharing your vibrations held within the crystal itself. It is an excellent tradition and a way to gift from the heart.

Here is how it works ... First find the crystal to give. It may be natural crystal, a gemstone, diamond, manmade crystal, or any form of crystal. Then, infuse your energy into the crystal by placing it in liquid crystal (water) overnight, along with a Michael crystal that has been given to you. This action will charge the new crystals with your intent and the energy of the family of Michael. If you have not yet been given a Michael crystal, charge the gift crystals with a crystal that has great personal meaning to you. Then, gift each crystal to a person who has made a difference in your life as a human angel. Explain to them that the gift is theirs without condition. In the event that they choose to activate the crystal, it can be done by placing it in water overnight with two other crystals that will be passed on in a similar manner to human angels who have made a difference in their lives.

The gift of a Michael crystal is usually given with some words as you so choose. This is especially important if the recipient is not familiar with the family of Michael or the Michael crystal. For example, you can say something like this ... "You have just been given a Michael crystal. Please accept it with the highest grace and love, for that returns the gift to the giver and completes the cycle of energy of this gift. This crystal is yours to keep, and even if the physical crystal is lost, it will remain with you on a soul level forever, for it was given on a soul level. It carries the blended energy of you, the giver, and the entire family of Michael. It will be a constant reminder that you are a part of an important family.

Receiving a Michael crystal means that you are being acknowledged as a human angel, within the family of Archangel Michael, who has made a positive contribution in the lives of those around you. Please accept it with the honor in which it is given. Once accepted, this crystal will bring beauty, passion and joy into your life. If you wish to activate this crystal to its fullest potential, find two or more crystals to gift to two or more people who have made a difference as human angels in your life. Place them overnight in water with the crystal you have just been given, charging them with your intent and the Michael energy. Then, if you wish, gift these crystals to the human angels who have touched your life, along with this message."

A Special Blessing to You and Yours ...
Until next week ...
These things, we warmly wish for you-

May good luck be with you
Wherever you go,
And your blessing outnumber
The problems that grow.

Love and Light,
Mike & Sandy
